George H. Lucas, PhD - Director of Marketing
George Lucas is the director of marketing for Wealth Investors, LLC. In his role, George serves as a spokesperson and manages the development and execution of the company’s seminar series, as well as focuses on streamlining Wealth Investors’ platforms and programs to create the most effective strategies possible for the company’s clients. Outside of his work at Wealth Investors, George is the executive vice president of U.S. Learning, Inc., headquartered in Memphis, Tenn., as well as the learning practice leader for The Schul Group of Dallas, Texas.
George brings more than 25 years of experience to Wealth Investors, having partnered with a variety of organizations as a speaker, trainer, consultant and field coach. His expertise lies in leadership development, business-to-business negotiation skills, sales, business development and marketing strategy.
Prior to joining Wealth Investors, George worked as a consultant for a number of major clients, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Wells Fargo, Sonoco Paper, Pratt Industries, Terminix, Sedgwick CMS and many trade associations. His work with these clients spans across the globe and includes speaking, live workshop training, webinar-based training, teleconferences and one-on-one training.
In addition to his consulting work, George is an accomplished writer. He co-authored “The One Minute Negotiator: Simple Steps to Reach Better Agreements,” a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller. He also co-authored a self-development book called “The Contented Achiever: How to Get What You Want and Love What You Get.” He is currently partnering with Wealth Investors CEO John Bonk on “Web. Vision. Wealth: Curing Your Success Phobia.” George also contributes to Southern Writers Magazine as a columnist.
George earned his Bachelor of Science, Master of Business Administration and Ph.D. from the University of Missouri. He went on to hold faculty positions at both Texas A&M and The University of Memphis, where he was recognized as one of the top professors in both the executive and international MBA programs.
